How to know your ip address?
If you want to find the IP address of a device or a website, there are several ways to do so depending on your operating system and your level of technical expertise:
Using Command Prompt (Windows):
Open Command Prompt by pressing the Windows key + R, typing "cmd" in the Run box, and then pressing Enter.
In the Command Prompt window, type "ping [website or IP address]" and press Enter. The IP address will be displayed in the output.
Using Terminal (Mac OS):
Open Terminal by searching for it in Spotlight or opening it from the Applications/Utilities folder.
In the Terminal window, type "ping [website or IP address]" and press Enter. The IP address will be displayed in the output.
Using a website:
There are many websites that can display the IP address of a website or your own IP address. One such website is "whatismyip.com". Simply visit the website and it will display your IP address.
Using network settings:
On Windows, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Ethernet or Wi-Fi (depending on your connection) > Properties > IPv4 address.
On Mac OS, go to System Preferences > Network > Ethernet or Wi-Fi (depending on your connection) > Advanced > TCP/IP.
It's important to note that there are tools and techniques that can be used to hide or mask an IP address, so the IP address you see may not always be the actual IP address of the device or website you are trying to locate.
